About this course:
The property model is considered as the flesh or the content of the Geomodel. Property modelling consists in populating the Geomodel away from control points with reservoir properties derived from Well, seismic and analog data. Because of the limited data availability and the various lateral / vertical resolution of these data, property modelling involves interpolation (between wells property estimation) and extrapolation (away from well property estimation). Most of the time, the Geostatistics tool will be used to help assigning reservoir properties in the Geomodel.
The PE13 course explores the tools available and the methodology in Petrel to build property models from scratch.
Under its current format, the PE13 course is tailored
for a Petrel Geomodelling platform.
Attendees are encouraged to bring along their
workstation and Petrel Licenses if they wish to use their own dataset during the
course.

- Gain overview of the principal algorithm for property modeling

Prerequisite:
Understanding of the Geomodelling workflow, attending
GM01 or GM10 courses would be
highly favorable
